Unfreakin' unbelievable! Less than 2 weeks to the start of the season and they pull Schmidt after 3.1 IP, & 58 pitches. WTSH?

might be possible that they're more interested in preventing injury to other starters than they are interested in getting Schmidt passed 75 pitches prior to opening day.


when starters are scarce and relievers plentiful.........

I had been hoping the Oneil Cruz would be in the starting line-up tonight


but I guess that the Yankees felt that they needed to see how Cabrera would perform at 3B
