Boras is playing a game of chicken, and he's not in control. It all depends on how many years Tucker gets on his free agent deal. Again, learn from Dylan Cease - you get a contract that is pretty damn good, and doesn't set the union back, even if it doesn't noticeably move the player contract forward - take it!
Again, I gotta ask - Did anyone ever really think that Trent Grisham would ever accept the QO? Does anyone - meaning both fans media/bloggers really believe that by Grisham getting a $17M raise has not greatly affected, or even changed the Yankees gameplan for how they construct the 2026 Yankees?
