Torres needs a change of scenery, so hopefully he signs somewhere else.

I've been hearing some interesting rumors about the Yanks bringing back Gleyber Torres. Now stay with me for a moment. Right now we DO NOT have a leadoff hitter. Third base is also looking like a possible problem. Not sure what is happening with Arenado. St. Louis might not take Stroman off our hands and his $18million overpay. Torres has good numbers since he was put in the leadoff spot last season. If someone will sit him down and read him the riot act about professionalism, hustling at all times, and focusing on his past nonchalance in his fielding, we may have a solution if Chisholm can be the third baseman, which he probably can. There you make a good point. Boone wasn't a good mentor for Gleyber. His approach was very inconsistent - he sent mixed messages all the time.

No problem moving Trevino, but then why move Carlos Narvaez to Boston? He looked, to me, like a good back up to Wells.

Agreed, I had no problem dealing Trevino but it would have been smarter to hold on to the right handed backup as a complement to Wells.
