Good episode. My move would be adding another consistent contact bat; the lineup relies too much on home runs. I’d also improve the infield defense because the small mistakes keep costing them in big games. Cool Games

Two moves I'd do right now:

1) Tell HC Rowson to coach hitting his way, and forget putting analytics first. If neither if his AHC can't do that, they're fired;

2) Install Carlos Lagrange in AAA as the Closer, literally pitching 3x a week.

They have him treating his FB almost like a secondary pitch. The big 3 R HR he gave up the other day? On a 3-2 slider. I say, put him in the pen have him cut down the usage of his off speed stuff and feature that big FB. With all the long term contracts, and Schlittler, Warren, Rodriguez, and all the other starting pitcher prospects, are you really losing anything if you make Carlos Lagrange into a Closer? I'd say the same thing with Ben Hess, and maybe Xavier Rivas too. Let's start making our own bullpen, not trading for stopgaps!

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
