Although it's a complete mess, Cashman has began the season with a shaky bullpen in previous years, hoping that one of his acquisitions and one or two trades would assist. doodle games

Most pitchers during Spring Training have a dead arm period, usually after the 3rd or 4th outing and gets a couple of extra days, but Cole didn't get to go through that, and so I always thought it was his version of dead arm.


As for the bullpen, it's a total mess, but Cashman the last number of years walks into the season with a bad bullpen, hoping that one of his finds and a trade or 2 will fix it. Plus they don't train guys to be relievers. I'd love to see 4th Rd pick Gage Ziehl in Tampa, working as a reliever then if he looks OK, send hi to the AFL, and start him at HV, b…
