EJ, talking about the scouting and how Houston pitchers handled. But I will say, the Yankees are being badly out-scouted, Cashman has made this place an analytically based and they do everything based on that, and they do very little with what they see with their eyes. While all other teams over the last 10 years or so, including the Rays, have put baseball back into the analytics equation. Yankees have badly ignored the baseball part.

But Hal handed the keys to Cashman, and has never told him ENOUGH! Change or leave.

But Rachel B. wasn't fired, she was hired away by the Marlins when Bendix did took over there.

I've been wanting to hire James Click, the GM Crane…

In a lot of my thoughts, and I'm guessing yours, just putting enough baseball back into the equation will do the trick. Heck, seriously, make me the Analytics quality control guy. Make them prove to me what it does and let me see if it's really a valid stat. Chances are it tells a story, a piece of the puzzle but it really doesn't move the needle at least where they put it now.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
