I dont believe they will hold GLJ back if he is hitting in AA. Just move one of the vets to AA or DFA him. The question is how much offensive progress will he make this season. I cannot stand how they have been sticking with Volpe, but I am not in favor of forcing GLJ before he is ready.

That's not Cashman's M.O. He signs vets and not only gives them money, but promises them playing time. Ben Rice never got a late season AAA call up in 2023 because Jake Lamb had to play 3B, and Chapparo was left at 1B.

I have not be one of the optimistic commentors on this site but I am ready to feel good about 2026. Grishman was a terrible move, The Martian should be with the big club not the washed up right handed hitter who hit .100 in ST and whose name I wont mention and Boone remains a disaster who manages like a guy hired out of the booth with 0 prior experince, BUT we have a team that should be in the playoffs and if we make the playoff Cole, Freid, Cam and Rodon will be better that any other staff we face. And that matters in the post season. So I am going to try to stay positive.

Additionally I…

Just heard the bad news: Cole is not going in the 60 day. Stupid, idiotic, moronic decision, He needs to go in the 60 to protect him from the Yankees decision makers. Too me, this is just the latest example of why I want to gut the entire YMG, and rebuild it from scratch, even if I'd end up hiring back 85% of the people, but it would be under a very different way of doing things.

My assumption based on what I've seen with rehab games since 2022? A non medical person will.

My problem with Grisham's D is he too, gets turned the wrong way in a couple of balls, but he gets to almost everything, but if another fielder is there, he backs off and too many balls drop in. Last year, he had lots of big time HRs.. even if he hits 25+ HRs again, they won't be as nearly impactful, so I gotta give him a 👎

As for Wells, I think him being healthy, shows what her can do do he gets a 👍

Really, can Weathers, Cruz, & Gil all stay healthy? That's why I think once both Rodón & Cole are back in the rotation, Weathers gets moved to the bullpen.

About McMahon, Volpe, etc.: At…
