I said all along whatever bullpen is the Yankees pen in Opening Night will be very different after the trade deadline. But there are a couple of surprises already. Ryan Yarbrough is almost a non existent pitcher in this roster this season. And I never realized that Luis Gil was hurt, and as far as I'm concerned, he's physically done for the season.

When Cole comes back, I can't see him giving length at least for his 4-5 starts, do I see him and Weathers being a combo, and that should take care of the bullpen for that game.

As much as the Yankees pat themselves on the back for drafting and developing Will Warren ('21 Draft), & Cam Schlittler…

My only comparison is on the strikeout rate Judge had in 2016.. it can be overcome. Everyone now forgets Judge went into Spring Training 2017 having to earn the RF job.

As a player I always thought Spencer Jones was more Josh Hamilton, than anyone else. Speed, D, power. In fact, Spencer Jones to me was an upgraded version of 2009 #1 pick, Slade Heathcott. Too bad Heathcott was another drafted guy that could never stay healthy

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
