I think Wells has played most of this season physically compromised, and don't know if he will ever be completely healthy, outside of the regular bumps & bruises from the season for the rest of the year, but I still take him over Narvàez or Dingler.

I have said enough about Boone, but it's worth repeating the blanket statement: If Brian Cashman ever wanted a real manager, Aaron Boone would not be the NYY Manager. After 8 years, might be be forced to make a move, could be. But if the structure stays the same, does anyone really think much would be different? I don't.

But Cashman for at least the last 3 season has left multiple holes on this…

Alan, the time to determine how valuable a prospect is going to be for your organization is during the term of years in which you're training him.

some initial 2 or 3 weeks' deployment in the majors will tell you only how well the prospect immediately adjusts.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
