IBWAA 2023 Preseason Predictions Vote

The Internet Baseball Writers Association of America (IBWAA) conducted its third annual preseason predictions vote prior to the start of the 2023 season. All IBWAA members were eligible to cast a ballot. The results are as follows:

Division Champions

AL East: Toronto Blue Jays

AL Central: Cleveland Guardians

AL West: Houston Astros

NL East: Atlanta Braves

NL Central: St. Louis Cardinals

NL West: San Diego Padres

Postseason

ALCS Winner: Houston Astros

NLCS Winner: San Diego Padres

World Series Winner: San Diego Padres

Awards

MVP: Shohei Ohtani (LAA) and Juan Soto (SDP)

Cy Young: Jacob deGrom (TEX) and Justin Verlander (NYM)

Rookie of the Year: Gunnar Henderson (BAL) and Corbin Carroll (ARZ)

Manager of the Year: John Schneider (TOR) and Bob Melvin (SDP)

Reliever of the Year: Emmanuel Clase (CLE) and Josh Hader (MIL)
