I used my award-winning wonderful book, The Least Among Them, (and a few other players) to help me solve this Immaculate Grid.
(Spoiler Alert - The finished grid from 8/17/25 is pictured below.)
I also used Spud Chandler for pitching MVP. But I had Rick Reuschel for the Gold Glove -- you look at the guy and think, "How could he ever be a good fielder?" I scored a 2 total.
NOTE - The "missing box" is Tom Burr.. B-R just didn't have a photo of him. (Which speaks to the terrific research I did for this award-winning book. ) :)
Paul, your book “The Least Among Them” looks very interesting. Is it Yankee centric or MLB in general?
Please tell us a little something about it. It’s not the typical “baseball book”. What gave you the idea?
There, I set it on the tee for ya!
Been playing the Immaculate Grid for awhile now. It’s a fun puzzle. Look for it on the Baseball Reference site.
I was “Immaculate” on that grid. Scored 101. The shortstops I chose, Jeter, Ozzie Smith, Arod accounted for 70 of those. Didn’t want to think too hard!
Btw, I used Judge in the blank space on your sample. He was at 4%.
Have fun playing!
