If you watched the Yankees when Nettles was the 3B it is apparent there has been a bias against Nettles..... there were two HOF 3B in that era.... Nettles and Robinson!
Don't forget Nettles side arm flip throw. He made playing 3rd base looks so smooth and easy. That's part of my favorite memory about Graig. PUFF should be in the HOF.
I don't need (having migraine that has me awake but noise is the issue doesn't help) to listen to the Podcast to know, with how they now vote for the HOF, plus, who they view as HOFers, on the regular ballot, there is no doubt in my mind that in Baseball 2025 Graig "Puff" Nettles IS a HOFer. Scott Rolen is in? He was a lesser player than #9. Alan Trammell and Ted Simmons are in due to the new voting rules, again Nettles was better. Standing up to George after George signed Toby Harrah, only months after Nettles re-signed, saying, I didn't re-sign to be part of a platoon, he gets my vote.
