Paul, I dont know if we have any rules written or unwritten about staying within a topic, but I saw your lengthy response to my comment about HOF/cheating, in your most recent tweets article. I appreciate your answer and your perspective.

I made an even lengthier response

I put this here because sometimes as the articles get pushed down the line, I have doubts how much they ever get seen again. I apologize, if I am breaking rules about staying on topic. i have no big need to know that what I wrote got read, but I DO find that a particularly interesting topic and I enjoy the conversation

There are no rules for staying on topic necessarily. I saw your answer. I haven't had time to respond but in short I appreciate your perspectives.

The Least Among Them.png

"This charming and meticulously researched book will remind you of baseball’s power to change and enrich lives far beyond the diamond."

—Jonathan Eig, New York Times best-selling author of Luckiest Man, Opening Day, and Ali: A Life

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
