Regarding adding a player from the Dynasty Yankees of 1996-2000, I'll give you one to think about - apart from Jeter and Rivera (obvious top two choices): Ramiro Mendoza and the 120 quality IP he could provide as a bridge/long reliever/spot starter/middle reliever/set up man. He would fill a void that the 2025 NYY's very much need!

Their last 2 weeks schedule is what should push them into the playoffs.


I'm not so concerned about the forever scouting or supervisor players, because since Cashman has gone all in with analytics, and doing the minors the same thing with the minors after the 2019 season, the issue to me is that Cashman in reality has not tweaked anything of the system. Gee, I'm making this comment as EJ is talking about it.


I want Cashman gone, because to me he has done more not good than just good. Would he have a job elsewhere if he was shown the door? Absolutely. But I think his time here is up. Personally, I want to talk to current TOR Exec,…
