Due to the betting partnerships, the lineup are out hours before even batting practice, so who really sends in the lineup? I know when an Owner didn't want me to do something at my then job about 10 years ago, my Boss told me, do it and use someone else's email for confirmation. So, I ask, who really sends in the lineup to the MLB Office?
As for Boone, I get it, he was given certain guidelines to be the manager. But, at what point does Boone put his job on the line and say NO to Cashman? I know Stevie Donahue is now officially the Director of Medical Services, but how involved is he, or, alternatively, how listened to…
