The Tuesday Discussion SSTN Predictions (Derek McAdam)

by Derek McAdam

March 30, 2021

What will the 2021 Yankees’ win/loss record be?

What is your prediction for the 2021 Yankees?

My guess is that the Yankees finish in first place in the AL East and lose in the World Series.

The Yankees will trade this player during the season.

Miguel Andujar. He has not proven that he is worth keeping for the future and may need a change of scenery.

The Yankees will acquire this player during the season.

This may be the season where the Yankees go all-in for Josh Hader to boost the bullpen.

Who will lead the team in hits?

DJ LeMahieu, who gets to 200 hits for the first time in his career

Who will lead the team in home runs?

Giancarlo Stanton, who is ready for a comeback season

Which pitcher will win the most games?

Gerrit Cole with 18 or 19

Will any Yankee win a major award (Rookie of the Year, MVP, Cy Young)?

I’d like to say that someone wins a Cy Young, such as Cole, but I will say that no one wins an award.

The Least Among Them.png

"This charming and meticulously researched book will remind you of baseball’s power to change and enrich lives far beyond the diamond."

—Jonathan Eig, New York Times best-selling author of Luckiest Man, Opening Day, and Ali: A Life

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
