The Tuesday Discussion SSTN Predictions (Lincoln Mitchell)

by Lincoln Mitchell

March 30, 2021

***

What will the 2021 Yankees’ win/loss record be?

98-64

What is your prediction for the 2021 Yankees?

I am going to predict that the Yankees win the World Series. That prediction comes from my heart. In my more analytical side, I say them winning the pennant and losing the World Series, but I do not want to contemplate losing the World Series to the Dodgers, who I think will win the NL.

The Yankees will trade this player during the season.

I think that Clint Frazier will get off to a good, but not great start and will be traded during the season. He will then go on to a 8 year 22 WAR type career.

The Yankees will acquire this player during the season.

This is a tough one, so I am going to say Doyle Alexander because he was traded so many times mid-season during his career.

Who will lead the team in hits?

DJ LeMahieu

Who will lead the team in home runs?

Aaron Judge

Which pitcher will win the most games?

Gerrit Cole

Will any Yankee win a major award (Rookie of the Year, MVP, Cy Young)?

Cole will win the Cy Young.

Scattering the Ashes.jpeg

"Scattering The Ashes has all the feels. Paul Russell Semendinger's debut novel taps into every emotion. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll reexamine those relationships that give your life meaning." — Don Burke, writer at The New York Post

The Least Among Them.png

"This charming and meticulously researched book will remind you of baseball’s power to change and enrich lives far beyond the diamond."

—Jonathan Eig, New York Times best-selling author of Luckiest Man, Opening Day, and Ali: A Life

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
