From 1921 to 1964 Yankees won 29 American league pennants and 20 World series championships.
Legacy, history.. from 1923-2009, 40 Pennants. 27 WSC. From 2009- Present - One Pennant.
Since 2009 - Giants 3 WSC. Their manager has a 4th with the 2023 Rangers. Red Sox - 2 WCS. The Dodgers and Astros each with one legitimate WSC, and each with a sketchy one. The Royals have one WSC and one Pennant. The Mets have a Pennant. Need I say more?
The only thing that has stayed the same since the 2009 season is GM/Head of Baseball Operations Brian Cashman.
As the SNL Church Lady would say, Discuss 🙂
Numbers don't lie.
This legacy has been trashed! There is no longer any attempt to win it all.
