Daily News reports IKF is taking reps in CF for the rest of the spring. https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/ny-isiah-kiner-falefa-outfield-anthony-volpe-20230314-xxfjye5wqzfihbfizntjif46yi-story.html

Replying to

I have an article coming tomorrow where I make the point that sometimes things work out. Maybe that did. But I am sure that if you asked the Yankees decision-makers, they'd all prefer Judge in RF rather than CF.

He only played in CF because the team they designed forced them to because they had no other choice.

The only reason Cabrera also played the OF was because they had no one else.

As I'll argue tomorrow, all of this was a result of poor planning.

It is that same poor planning that has them trying IKF in CF. They have no other options.

the consensus here is that Hicks begins the season as the starting left fielder.

i wonder if any of the worthies believe that Hicks will hit .250 (or less) with very few HRs

and retain the position.

I tend to doubt that Hicks starts after Bader returns
