Over the next many months, I am going to review the credentials of several former Yankees and highlighting their careers. Many of their accomplishments have been forgotten. Even if some are not future Hall of Famers, it's good to remember what they did accomplish.
Together, we can discuss if we believe that they are deserving of being included in the Hall Of Fame or not. I hope you read along and give me your opinions.

He threw 199 innings or more in eight consecutive seasons.
His career record was 166-112 (,597 winning percentage).
He teamed with Allie Reynolds and Vic Raschi to help the Yankees win 5 Consecutive World Series
He was on the ballot for five years, never getting more than four votes.
After his playing days, he managed a record of 90-124.
