Yankees Baseball Card Trivia at Noon – 4 Consecutive Homers List…
My Uncle David did some great baseball research and compiled a list of the only times a baseball team has had batters connect for four consecutive homeruns in a game. (For the record, this has taken place only nine times in baseball history. Amazingly, the Yankees have never done it. )
This week, we will look at some of the teams that accomplished this rare feat. (You see, scattered among the players who were part of the four consecutive homers were some former or future Yankees…)
On September 18, 2006, the Los Angeles Dodgers hit four consecutive homers against the Padres in Los Angeles.
These players hit the homers:
Jeff Kent, J.D. Drew, (This Player), and Marion Anderson
*quick note – J.D. Drew was on the last two lists.
