Yankees Baseball Card Trivia at Noon – In Commemoration of Memorial Day
Thanks to our good friend ProfRobert for bringing us the baseball card trivia questions this week!
In commemoration of Memorial Day, this week’s players were all Yankees better known for playing for a team whose home stadium had the word “Memorial” or “Veterans” in it. Name the player and home stadium where he had better years.
Thursday:
This outfielder played for eight teams in his career, including most of one year with the Yankees until he was released. But it was while he played his home games at the stadium that gets him on this list that he tied a record shared by such luminaries as Lou Gehrig, Willie Mays and Mike Schmidt (although he was on the road when he did it).
