*These are records held by less-famous Yankees. None of these players are ones anyone would suspect as holding All-Time Yankees records. You won’t find Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Reggie Jackson, or Derek Jeter here this week…

This player tied a Yankees record for the most stolen bases in one game with four. (He was the 18th Yankees to do this, but the most recent. This player stole four bases on May 15, 2005.)

NOTE – I know, stolen bases isn’t strictly a batting category, but it’s a challenge to find Yankees records that aren’t held by the big guys.
