Yankees Baseball Card Trivia at Noon – Walk-Off World Series Heroes (Week 2)

A walk-off hit is one of the most exciting plays in baseball, even more so when it comes in a World Series. We’re on to our second week of looking at ten Yankees who delivered, allowing jubilant crowds to go home without further ado. Now, these are all easy to look up, but you are requested to limit yourself to the card images, the clues and your memories — in other words, NO PEEKING!

We’re starting off with one of the easier ones. As you know, despite two walk-off wins in 2001, the Yankees still lost the series. This player hit the only other walk-off in a Series the Yankees ultimately lost. 1964 WS, Game 3.
