Overall the Yankees affiliates had a successful season. Two of the squads won their league championship.
The team traded away much of their upper level pitching depth at the trade deadline, but as we will soon find out in an upcoming article, that depth will has already been replaced.
Several of the players who came into the season as projected top 100 prospects have actually improved upon their standings and are a year closer to making an impact in the majors in the near future.
There’s also a handful of new names that popped up among the organization leaders. Perhaps those are players that we should keep an eye on moving forward.
