In extra inning games, with the infamous "ghost runner", and the game tied, if you're the home team, all you really have to do is sacrifice the "ghost runner" over to third, and sacrifice the runner home, either with a fielder's choice or a sacrifice fly. No hits are even necessary.
After that last game in Philadelphia, when we were lauding DJ's Grand Slam and 6 RBI's, people were saying "It's just one game" and even now, people are saying "sample size" or whatever else to indicate that this may just be a fluke or a temporary thing, but this seriously could be MORE than a temporary thing.
