another example of WHY nobody should ever worry about the team having too many players. I HOPE that Boone gets to figure out how to play 4 OF and 2 DHs and 2 1b as soon as possible and every day until mid ish November!!!

News outlets are reporting it's the left ankle, not knee. I dunno. Looked like the knee to me. But whatever it is, it's bad.

based on Boone saying that Waldo was repeating that it hurt, an ankle would make sense. in all the ACLs i have been through with players and my son and step daughter, really nobody talks about it being a lot of pain. ankles are a lot of pain

I just love to hear the stories about how they speak about him. people like Waldo are the reasons I have been able to keep being a Yankee fan after Mariano is gone

well this totally sucks!! you can see how much this team loves Cabrera.

from 20+ years of coaching and seeing my son go through 2 of em, I am gonna be shocked if this is not torn ACL

i am kinda surprised they seem to be working so hard to NOT move him at all

Yes, you can tell how much his teammates care about Cabrera. The man always -- always -- has a smile on his face when you see him on the field or in the dugout. Anyone who takes such joy in his job is a lucky fellow (tonight's injury notwithstanding).

they are acting like it is a head or neck injury. if that is the case I SURE MISSED something!! well he is definitely moving his arms so it aint that. I love the way the Yankee trainer had his arm around him and was talking in his ear

it sucks it has to come from something like this, but you really see how much these guys mean to each other
