BOTH of the next 2 games are MUST WIN

if they lose this series to LAA we can officially take note that the Boone scenario has definitely taken hold and prepare for an ugly slide

still not wanting to buy it. still hoping and believing!!

BUT here are the answers that Boone NEVER has

STOP trying to do too much

STOP trying to win the game by yourself on every swing

STOP swinging at bad pitches because you are trying too hard

DO control the things you can control

DO the little things correctly

DO be smart on the bases

DO make the fundamental play on defense

make contact

move runners

use the middle of the field

and if you…

Boone just defends Volpe no matter what!!!

he just said no reason for Volpe to see a pitch from the new pitcher there. swinging at pitch one is totally fine with Boone

for me, my philosophy is you are not swinging on the first pitch unless it is a pitch you can drive. and probably that was a pitch Volpe COULD drive IF he was planning to go to RF unless he got a slow breaking ball

Volpe unquestionably swings too much and refuses to stop trying to pull absolutely everything. being honest, i am TRULY TRULY shocked that any pitcher EVER throws him a pitch inside. every time they do it they do him a favor!! if they th…

Replying to

also after the game yesterday, Meredith asked Boone what he thought about them having a base running blunder in 3 straight games after being so good all year

Boone asked, I dont remember the blunders what were they

Meredith said Friday, Volpe gets thrown out stealing 3b, Jdom and Rice the last 2 games

Boone says, Volpe was not a blunder. they just made a good play and got him by an inch, NOT a blunder!

very wrong. stealing 3b in that spot was extremely dumb

excellent note about the AB when Stanton twice went fishing for crappies.

nobody noticing that the Yankees are burned again by sending an aging runner home on the contact play

NO WAY Goldy should be going home on a ball hit barely over the pitchers head

I am not positive LAA is able to field that ball and get Jdom at 1b but either way you do not lose the tying run at 3b

it was correct to send the guy on a slow ball to the right side of second base.

he wasn't out because he was slow, he was out because he DIDN'T go on contact

Was watching the game on MLB network and they cut away to show Ohtani pitching so missed the last play of the game. Guess I didn’t miss much!
