I Am Thankful For... (By Chris O'Connor)

As a Yankees fan, I am thankful that the team has never had a non-winning season in my lifetime. It can be (understandably) under-appreciated at times due to the World Series drought and the fact that it’s not a playoff guarantee, but one thing you can say about the Yankees is that they are hardly ever playing games with no meaning. Even the non playoff seasons of the 2010’s decade had some fun moments (Mo’s retirement in 2013 and Jeter in 2014, Gary Sanchez and the baby bombers get called up in 2016, etc).
