NOTE - Some of these tweets might be up to a week to ten days old. I collect them over time and then when I have enough, I post the article.

My Thoughts - I was excited when the Yankees got Joey Gallo. I felt bad for the guy when he failed. One thing is certain, the guy has a rocket arm. He's now trying to make a comeback as a pitcher. I, for one, am rooting for him.

***

My Thoughts - I don't know why, because it's kind of ugly, but I like this windbreaker.

***

My Thoughts - Each day it becomes more and more of a treat to watch Aaron Judge. We are getting close to being able to say, "We are watching genius." It's just absurd how good he is right now. Absurd... and a whole lot of fun.

***

My Thoughts - This is called jumping the shark. I am a historian. I love history. I am a big fan of George Washington. I do not want a piece of his hair nor should his hair be on a baseball card. This is, for lack of a better word, crazy.

***

My Thoughts - I am rooting big time for Ben Rice. This grand slam was great to see.

***

My Thoughts - Small Sample Size Warning - but this is a hopeful sign.

***

My Thoughts - This is a fake, but if it were real, sign me up. I'd play for the Rockies. And when I would face the Yankees... I'd get them all out. I also ain't scared of that Judge fellow. Let's see him hit my 66 MPH fast ball.

(NOTE - My fastball probably doesn't quite reach 66 MPH.)

it makes me something? I am not sure sad is the word? but it is not a positive thing for me that Bonds gets included in conversations of all time greatness

at the same time, I have no idea how to think of him or recognize him or others like him

Bonds was a great baseball player. that is clear and obvious

he was great before the cream and the clear

when did he begin? I am not sure that the beginning of him cheating is when people think it was, but also believe we will very likely NEVER know

part of me believes that he should be included in the HOF

but on his plaque

Bonds was nearly unanimously…

to one point specifically, I personally am able to like a player and still see that they cheated. personally, I LIKE Arod. i realize that Poppi is rather likable, but i do not particularly like him! i LIKE McGwire. I am sure I could find others. i am not interested in making a list

so IF that is your perspective, I am fine with that. everyone has every right to their own perspective. I also trust you to be consistent with your perspective, unlike I would with many people!!

at this moment, I dont think I can, or maybe just am not willing this moment, come up with an excellent explanation / answer to your example of players using speed.…

I also root for Gallo, who overcame a Twitch Disorder (analogous to Tourette's Syndrome, but not the same thing) to play Major League Baseball. Playing in the Majors is impressive enough; overcoming adversity to do so is amazing.

I am with the two of you in rooting for Gallo. I was happy when we got him and very sad when it became clear that it was NOT going to work for him as a Yankee((

66 mph fastie!

does your change-up bounce less than twice?

I heard that Vladi sr had trouble hitting balls that bounced two or more times before reaching the front of the box

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
