the O's lose. Yankees are up 1.5 games (up 2 in the loss column) best record in the AL and second best record over all
O's now go to play LAD. Yankees head to the Nats. the Nats record is obviously nothing near that of LAD, but the Nats are a young team growing into form. they are dangerous and not a pushover in any way, but I like the Yankees chances in any and every game where we get a quality start!! Monday will be a great day for Nestor to give further proof that he can be a good pitcher on the road and start making a strong statement about having a significant role in the playoffs
Aaron Judge is averaging 1 homer per game, at this point. With 31 games left to play! While he is NOT going to hit, or average 1 homer per game the rest of the season (He is NOT going to hit 82 homers!), it is a real possibility that Judge will at least break his own record of 62 homers, and I think he will reach 64 homers. All he has to do to reach 64 homers is to hit homers in 13 of the remaining 31 games, which I think is very do-able. For HIM. But not so much for too many others. To break Barry Bonds record of 73, by hitting 74, he would need to …
