***

Will Warren was terrific.

The defense was terrific.

The Yankees managed to score one run.

It was enough.

Yanks 1, Royals 0.

Full recap from me in the morning.

***

The grahpic tonight is from Google Gemini. The prompt was "Please create a cartoon image of a NY Yankee with a broom sweeping away Kansas City Royals."

I would say I have always been impressed with Warren in his interviews. I see a lot of confidence and a person who is comfortable where he is at. I believe he has the demeanor to become an excellent pitcher

A 1-0 game, and they didn't pull Dominguez for D, Now, THAT'S INCREDIBLE!

why McMahon? he has had a HOT week (6 hits, 5 BBs, 2 HR), but he is still a 90 OPS+ player. i love the idea of trading with Colorado. trading our players there we almost never have to worry about how good they get. trading in our division, on the other hand, if for instance Spencer Jones fixes the K problem, we would have double digit painful reminders every year that he could have been a Yankee.

that said, HS Kim is my first choice at the moment. do you really think McMahon is going to stay hot now? I dont feel any confidence that he is much of an improvement for us.

VERY nice to see Reyes have a nice game tonight as you have to figure he gets the call from SWB when Stanton comes back. good for him!!!

I disagreed during the game and maybe more now. why take Warren out after only 77 pitches. if they let him come back from the delay AND they let him face the top 3 in the order for the 3rd time, why not let him keep going. we are NOT dealing with a deep pen here folks. based on their usual usage, Williams and Leiter are on the bench tomorrow

that makes sense, but I could also see Cruz getting the ball at the end. it would not be a total shock to see Hill get a shot

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
