Quick Hit: 2-2, Double, Walk, 2 RBI's.

That was my stat-line this morning. I also caught 3 fly balls in the outfield (no errors). And, the Yankees won 5-4.

Gil has pitched 20 inning and struck out 29 batters

if he stops walking guys, he's gonna be a really good'un

cause they aint hitting him...... 8 hits over those 20 innings

and a batting average against him of ,125

not sure whether his future is as a starter or reliever

given that he has yet to master a big break on the slider

but he's looking good with fastball and change-up

With Cabrera hitting over .300 with 14 RBIs, is DJ coming back as the utility infielder he was signed to be? Or WHEN is DJ coming back?

Another SERIES WIN. That is what we want every time we play an AL East team. As far as sweeps go, they are a MUST when playing opponents like Oakland, who's coming up next. The best teams in baseball SWEEP the "bottom feeders" and either SPLIT (if 4 game series) or WIN SERIES from the best teams and the division rivals.
