Quick Hit: 58 & 59!

Judge went 4-5 today with 2 HR's and 4 RBI's, while raising his batting average to .316! He could legitimately do everything himself.

We need to see if he can pitch. He does everything else. Just had a thought. If he could face Cole every day till the end of the season, he would end up with over 80 homeruns.

Holmes continues to be a disaster.

I think there should be a new stat: Blown Non-Saves. When the reliever comes in in a non-save situation because the lead is too large and then exits the game with a save situation (or worse a blown save) in effect.

More to your question, sure, opponent's OPS is a highly relevant pitching statistic. Holmes OBA-Against yesterday was .400 (2-for-5). His SLG-Against was .500 (2-for-4). That's a .900 OPS-Against. Basically, Holmes made the Brewers look like Shohei Ohtani (.891 OPS) in the ninth inning.

it's Judge and no one else now that Florial is gone.

that they would welcome Rizzo back rather than shape the line-up around Estevan the Unready just goes to show the stupidity of Yankee management.

Technically yes, but only if someone hears that tree fall in the forest.
