As poorly as the Yankees have been playing over these past two months, the most amazing thing of all is that the Yankees are STILL in first place.
With how poorly the Yankees played, the Baltimore Orioles SHOULD have pulled away and started running away with the division. But they didn't. Paul Yanks starting pitching leaves a lot to be desired Nester,Stroman have been awful Cole hot and cold . Gil on innings count not allowed to go deep in games. Rodon You never no. The relief not much better Dela Cruz looks lost . Cashman didn’t address getting a starter or a lights out closer. Yanks could have gotten Snell. and all he has done is have 2 terrific outings since he has come off of IR. The one thing I can't stand is the continuous comments game after game that the other team is making the Starting Pitcher work. Well, at what point is it a coaching issue? It's more than just this year that foul balls are an issue. Can one of their pitching gurus come up with something, or am I asking too much because this is a baseball issue, not one of analytics?
