Liked what i saw from Pereira. Wells keeps getting better. Peraza just needs to play. In Florial i have my CF until Dominguez is ready. Not impressed today with Volpe on the bases or his swings, Cabrera, no one told him to make Ginkel throw strikes before swinging in the 8th?

I've now watched this game, and on paper, it is spectacularly exciting with a great outcome: The Yankees fall behind three times and comes back to prevail. But the experience is so draining -- a couple of home runs, and nothing else for 7 innings, 2-for-10 with runners in scoring position, even in the big inning, bases loaded, no outs, and a strikeout. I hate watching this team. They are not fun. A mess of home runs is great, but not when it's the only way they can possibly win.

Replying to

Yankees won 6-4. Three runs scored on homers. No home runs, no win.

Even the bottom of the 8th was painful to watch with a bases-loaded, no-outs strikeout from Cabrera. Yes, I enjoyed Wells sac fly and Pereira's RBI single, still too many True Outcomes in the game, not enough real baseball.

Peroza will turn out to be better than Volpe if they let him have a fair chance. He's already a better defensive player.
