Quick Hit: Sweep, But Not Yet Sweet.

The Yankees just swept a weekend series...against the 28-win Royals. It's hard to get overly excited about this one.

Hey, the way they've been playing lately against bad teams, i'll take it. Mets for 2, then @O's for 3.

Hey, this sweep is like when I go to the ice cream shop and they are out of black raspberry. I don't leave empty handed, I "suffer" through chocolate peanut butter swirl. I'll take it!

My favorite flavor at a fantastic ice cream place in Ridgewood, NJ is Peppermint Stick. I love it.

Then again, if I get the Chocolate Chip Mint... that's not too bad either.

(Maybe I'll go right now and get a scoop of each!!!!!)

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
