Another reason freakshow numbers are being forced on current players? Today was even worse than the retirements for Pettitte, Posada and Williams. O'Neill is even less deserving; statistically, he's Ben Chapman for the Yankees.

Being a vile racist is extremely bad, but at least Chapman didn't commit treason against the United States, as far as I know, though I suspect he would have eagerly had he been around in the early 1860s.
