Today’s score: Phillies (9), Yankees (4). Meanwhile, questions remain: What’s the status on Judge? When is the next move? Should

the Yankees sell? Why did Ryan McMahon shave?

i just got the Judge notification. it very much gives the impression they are CONFIDENT it is not the UCL!! so no TJS

i am REALLY REALLY torn on Stanton

trading him would be so so smart in huge ways!!! but I personally really like him and at this moment he looks FANTASTIC and he was awesome in the playoffs!!

here is the BIG dilemma!! we know he controls where he would go. YOU KNOW he is NOT letting us trade him to a team with little chance to win!! if BC improves the team and Judge comes back strong, I still believe this team can have a good postseason

it would be more sickening than i think i could…

and what do you expect to gain by trading a 37 year old 1B who doesn't hit home runs

and is on an expiring contract?

Rice is far more expendable given that the team has plenty of lefty hitters

and given that Rice is a sub-par defender

who DOES hit Hrs

tell me please, is there ANY excuse at all for Spencer Jones not being the CF in tomorrows starting lineup??

in my mind if they do not start him in CF tomorrow it means they have 100% decided that he is EXTREMELY unlikely to ever be a good MLB player and they do not want to put him on display vs MLB pitching before they trade him

if they do not promote him tomorrow and they do not trade him....

AGAIN, Hal?? are you watching? if they believe he can play he needs to be IN THE LINEUP? yes? otherwise they MUST trade a player that they do not believe in while his value is absolutely THRU THE ROOF!!!! yes??

why not? if he hits vs Wheeler it seems a solid sign he might be a guy!!! the best way to see what they have is to put his name in the lineup

but that is my view. I can concede I see some might want to give him a bit of an easier run way

but our next games are vs TBR and I think there pitching is pretty good?? i could be wrong. he needs to be up soon. it SUCKS a ton having Judge hurt, but seeing Jones in MLB is the sunny side of the coin. they MUST put him in the lineup

unless like I said their own internal assessment is highly doubful he can…

The injury started in the Toronto series. Judge was wincing in pain when he threw the ball from the OF into the infield. You can tell something was wrong with his throwing arm.

based on info like- Jazz never fielded ONE single grounder at 3b in the offseason, it is hard to NOT question even the most obvious things

that said, I still hope, Judge mentioned something, OR coaches noticed his behavior in the field and he was asked about it. OBVIOUSLY they DO have training staff traveling with the team. someone HAD to give him at least a cursory exam.

THAT seems like the reasonable course of events

cursory exam

given the ok to continue playing

experienced more discomfort yesterday and decided further tests would be prudent.

I HOPE reasonable is what happened!!!! it makes me very sad that we have had so many reasons to doubt reasonable behavior is normal behavior
