***

The Yankees scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th to take a 4-2 lead and win the game...

And the series.

The Yankees have now won two games in a row.

Have they turned it around? Maybe! We all hope so.

Let's Go Yankees!

*** Google Gemini created the graphic. ("Can you create a fun image of a NY Yankee as a boxer knocking out a Baltimore Orioles player also as a boxer?")

I believe Goldy deserves another year and maybe an option too... Just for the Defense I've seen,he's a Wizard, better than the Rizzo, who also was good, until his bat stopped 😕, Rice is awesome, but, he's not ready to be the full-time 1B-man.. that much, I'll tell you...if they're thinking about trading him,(Goldy), they'd be foolish, they need him to see this to its end..Cruz, is awesome, Blake, is another wizard....

Rice has honestly been very very consistent. it is only the results that have been inconsistent Rice has been in the top 10 in all of MLB almost all season in exit velo and hard hit percentage. he is VERY consistently hitting the ball as hard as almost any player in all of MLB. he has had a ton of bad luck

i am nearly 100% convinced that Rice will be a good to very good MLB hitter for a long time. i am unsure what his defensive potential is i truly think the best decision for the Yankees would be to platoon him and Stanton at DH and find occasional other ways to put Stanton in the lineup against some weake…

the Yankees have had a horrid June

and after 20 June games

have swooned away almost nearly more than half

only 7 more June games to go

and it might not get any more than only just a little bit better

(It cant get no worse)

not much said anywhere that I have seen yet but Cruz deserves some big credit

comes in in the top of 8 with 2 on and none down

faces 3 batters

throws 13 pitches, 10 strikes and puts up 3 Ks!!

top of 9

Williams throws 14 pitches, 10 strikes

Goldy he gets put on the bench for TWO days comes in as a pinch runner and scores the go ahead run running from 1b

i see no way that Goldy can remain on the roster next year and that makes me very sad!! I will forever be a Goldy fan for what he has done already this year. he is a true true professional!!

I want to keep him already. i dont care what his final numbers are. i am convinced he is a great part of this team i simply do not think they will find a place for him next year and they will not offer a raise and my guess it is very possible he can get a raise

it will be difficult for him to get back to .325 now i guess and 25 HR is also doubtful. if he does that they might find a way
