in how many games that the team has lost has the offense scored 3 or fewer runs?

I dont know and am hoping that someone is able to enlighten me.

what I do know is that two Yankee relief pitchers have been charged with more than one loss

while the bullpen, as a whole, has ,500 W-L record.

Hamilton also has performed poorly, but has yet to be charged with a loss, despite his lousy ERA

I sent Paul an article for his consideration. One point in it is that while average runs/game are up over last year (5.875 vs. 5.031), median runs have fallen from 5 to 4. The issue is hitter inconsistency.

with 40 games played. the Yankees have a run differential of +75

I wonder if that has any significance

not sure it is accurate to say only two fellas in the pen have had costly outings

Cruz who has been awesome just gave up 3 runs yesterday

Hamilton has been inconsistent at his best. walks are bad

even Hill who I believe has only 4 BBs on the year had one outing with two of those BBs back to back and put the team in a bad spot

Weaver who I have spoken of in only glowing phrases has had more than one recent outing in which he failed to do his job successfully

I think it would be fair to say that the pen has had good moments. the overall pen stats have them among the better pens…

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
