Aaron Judge homered.
Trent Grisham homered.
Anthony Volpe had two hits and three runs batted in. He also homered.
Full re-cap at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow from Mike Whiteman.
I can live with a groundout or a flyball at times letting one run score. But my point is with Holmes is going to have a known stat out there as being something like like 23 for 31 in saves attempts, why shouldn't we know that reliever X has as has come in with 19 guys on base, stranding only 11 of them.
Aaron Judge today hit the 298th homer of his career.
With 2 more home runs, Judge will reach 300 homers. He will set the all time record for the fewest games to reach 300 career homers in MLB history. And the record won't even be a close one. With a current HR/G rate of 0.37 in 2024, Judge will likely set the record in a week. The current record holder, Ralph Kiner, played in 1,087 games to reach 300 career home runs. Through August 3, Judge has played in just 945 games to reach 298 home runs in his career. That's a difference of about 3/4 of a full season worth of games.
Rodon's numbers were inflated by the IRS.
