i am glad EJ brought it up earlier. I have also said it a few times this postseason. Volpe is playing much better than his numbers show. one blatant error, but it was not from being lax or unfocused. he was trying to make a difficult play

It very much appears to me that Judge is also looking a lot better. he did appear to press and swing at some ill advised pitches the first 2 games. the last 3 games, …
Meanwhile, the Dodgers in LA were "snakebit" by the Mets, almost literally. There was a real live snake that found its way into the Dodgers dugout. Doesn't surprise me. On one occasion, I was walking down a sidewalk in LA, and spotted a snake slithering on it, so they are around here.

Didn’t watch most of the game…was Rizzo hurt or just pulled as a precaution? Was surprised to see Cabrera out there.
We still have to consider 8 LOB (1 per inning on average), 0-for-7 RISP. It amazes me they could win on these numbers, but the 7 BB and FIVE WP, gave the Yankees a gift. I have doubts about their ability to win with that kind of "clutch" performance, even as awful as the Guardians appear to be.
