This week we asked our writers to share where their favorite places to sit in Yankee Stadium are.

Here are their replies...

*** Paul Semendinger - When I owned a small season ticket package, my seats were the last row of the upper deck directly behind home plate. I loved those seats. Everything was right there in front of me. Plus, with no one behind me, I could stand whenever I liked. There are also fewer people up there (or were) so we could also spread out and stretch more.

That being said, last year I was given seats in the "moat" with free food, free drinks, and such. I really liked that as well!

***

Ethan Semendinger - My dad's seasts behind home plate, in the upper deck, were great. As a little kid, when he had them, it was nice to be able to stand up and not get yelled at by fans.

Now, I like to be closer to the field. I've never caught a ball at a game. I'd like to be in position to get one.

***

Andrew Hefner - Right field has the best energy in the stadium, especially the bleachers. However, I prefer the lower field level sections compared to the bleachers and often you can get really good deals on seats (especially when Soto and the Mets are not in town). The food behind the sections are great as well, and, of course, you get to be right under/next to the amazing creatures!

***

Tim Kabel - My favorite section at Yankee Stadium is the field level box seats in left field, facing home plate. I had these seats when I went to a game with my son several years ago. Since then, whenever we go, that is where we sit.

***

Mike Whiteman - Well, I've never been to the new stadium.  My recliner is the best place to see a game at new Yankee Stadium :)

***

Andy Singer - My preference is to sit behind the catcher at any level I can.  At Yankee Stadium, usually that means I'm in the nosebleeds, but it's a fantastic view of everything that's happening on the field.  I can also nerd out by really evaluating pitching and hitting mechanics, my favorite pastime.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
