Over the next many months, I am going to review the credentials of several former Yankees and highlighting their careers. Many of their accomplishments have been forgotten. Even if some are not future Hall of Famers, it's good to remember what they did accomplish.

Together, we can discuss if we believe that they are deserving of being included in the Hall Of Fame or not. I hope you read along and give me your opinions.

Today we are going to be looking at...

Bill "Moose" Skowron...

"Moose" played for the Yankees the first nine years of his career before playing for four other teams the final five years of his career.
He had a career WAR of 27.0
He accumulated 1,566 hits.
Skowron was an all star eight times
He won five World Series.
Believe it or not, he was never actually on a ballot.
