He is 26 years old and also has experience playing in the World Series now. He has a World Series ring and has played in two World Series. He just turned 26 years old.  Because he is essentially singing for his supper, he may be even less inclined to develop young players

He should find himself in the top 5-6 prospects in the organization once the lists update.  26.    Now healthy, the 26 year old is dominating in Somerset. The 26 year old RHP is Rule 5 eligible this season.

It was how much money and how many years were being committed to the 26-year old. I don’t doubt that Soto wants to win, but he does have a World Series ring. At this point, he can just chase additional rings. The Mets bringing him in is an upgrade for them. They managed to get to the NLCS without Soto. Do they bring in Bellinger or perhaps Kyle Tucker to fill the outfield void(s)?

A first option could be Michael King, who has not had the season he was hoping to have. In 10.2 innings this season, King has a 7.59 ERA and allowed nine runs. With Jonathan Loaisiga and Luis Cessa being relievers that can eat innings, King finds himself in a tricky Boone does not seem to go to him that often and has more trust in players like King, Cessa or Loaisiga
