Judge and Stanton should be benched! Judge has proven he can't hit in the playoffs and Stanton has cost the Yankees outs and even runs because he can't run.

Cabrera back at 1B.

You know you have a short lineup when Volpe bats 7th.

Volpe with a hit and 2 walks

Cabrera with 3 walks

Stanton with 3 hits

nobody else had a hit

so I think the Yankees did many good things. i am happy with the win and in my admittedly biased mind, i see reason for hope of Judge and maybe others coming to life

but we might as well have 15 or 16 pitchers on the roster.

are we going to use any strategy? pinch hitter? defensive replacement?

I mean, from what I saw Cabrera had solid ABs and he did get 3 walks. but in the 8th inning with a man on, we let Cabrera bat lefty vs LHP. did Boone or anyone give ANY thought to someone els…

did you also mention that they should count on Witt being w/o a stolen base?

have the Yankees compiled a greater number of swipes thus far?

A little close for comfort but I'll take it. Cole needs to wrap it up tomorrow. I don't trust Rodon.

That Stadium is very, very quiet right now.

Man, Weaver, 96 on the black of the plate. I wish I could have done that. But I was mostly 56 in the dirt.

More importantly, he throws strikes, which I found quite challenging 40+ years ago.
