Former Braves Great (and Yankee) Phil Niekro Passes Away

Phil Niekro, a member of the Baseball Hall-of-Fame, who spent 24 years in the Major Leagues and won 314 games, passed away today.

Niekro spent two seasons (1984 and 1985) in pinstripes winning 16 games both years.

Niekro won his 300th game while pitching for the Yankees.

Rest in Peace Knucksie!
