Game 109: Yankees (63-45) vs Phillies (65-41)

Ferguson traded to Houston!!! YEAH!!!

Cole scratched from start with "body fatigue." What????

Will Warren added to roster and makes MLB debut today! Talk about being thrown to the lions!

Padres get Tanner Scott so Yankees will likely enter the playoffs without a reliable closer.

Grisham is back in lineup!!!!

Still no DJ!

Great win! Winning a series from a club this good without the Yankees ace pitcher, and instead, a young pitcher from the minors making his major league debut is very uplifting for the ballclub.

I blame Chisholm for causing the Phils to lose a game they should have won

It's nice to know....SO FAR....It's no longer a "2-man offense" any more.

Unusual, having Stanton pinch hitting against a right hander, but I guess they feel he is an improvement over DJ LeMaheui.

Technically, DJ was a defensive substitute, coming in right after Rice's last AB.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
