When they complete tonight's loss, the Yankees will be 15-24 since July 1, a .385 winning percentage. There will be 42 games left, and at that rate, the Yankees go 16-26 to finish 76-86, the same record they had in 1992, the last time they finished below .500.

1992. Entering August 15's games, the Yankees were 11 games under .500 on their way to finishing 76-86. (Coincidentally, the Mets are 11 games under .500 entering tonight's game. Plus ca change, plus ca meme chose, eh Buck?)
